1990's

Sterling Classics, Inc. is founded by Stan & Shirley Jordan in Jacksonville, Florida in 1992, and incorporates under the laws of the State of Florida on April 24, 1996. The company is one of the first Rhino Linings dealers in Florida and was located at 6628 Evergreen Avenue, just North of downtown Jacksonville.

For 10 years, Sterling Classics, Inc. is one of the top Rhino Linings dealers in America, earning Top 5 honors for 5 consecutive years in the 1990's. Company Vice President, Stan Jordan, already well-known as a local elected official, becomes known throughout North Florida as "The Rhino Man" for his aggressive marketing efforts.

2000 - 2008

Mr. Jordan is elected to the Florida House of Representatives representing House District 17 in 2000. Jordan serves 4 consecutive 2-year terms in the Florida House, and Chairs the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee from 2004-2008.

2001

Sterling Classics Inc. moves into the current facility at 3414 North Main Street. An extensive renovation of the Main Street facility is performed, including the addition of 2 new structures on the site and a cosmetically restored 3,000 square foot showroom.

2006

Sterling Classics continues to conduct business. A mobile polyurea spray trailer is added and an off-site industrial coating business begins. The company also begins offering surface preparation services and waterstop services.
